A master’s thesis in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the College of Engineering researched, entitled (“A numerical and practical study of a vibrating desalination system using low heat sources”) by the researcher Esraa Abbas Hussein, during the research, a numerical and practical study was conducted for the process of producing potable water using a modern method called the vibration system, and based on low energy sources and with the least energy possible.

The results showed an acceptable numerical, practical and quantitative match of the production of drinking water, which is considered acceptable and logical for the size of the practically manufactured system, which was manufactured in the laboratories of the Mechanical Engineering Department at the College of Engineering, University of Kerbala.

The thesis was accepted with a very good grade by the discussion committee, which consisted of Professor Dr. Alaa Abbas Mahdi as Chairman, and the membership of Assistant Professor Dr. Nabil Shahid Deidan, the teacher Dr. Jaafar Ali Mahdi and the membership and supervision of Assistant Professor Muhammad Wahab Kazem and Assistant Professor Dr. Fadel Nour Al-Din.
